Kitchen Shapes
What Shape is for Your House?
The shape of your kitchen is a vital part of the planning. The most important thing to remember is, whichever shape your kitchen will have,
try to plan your kitchen as efficient as possible.
This means that food preparation, sink and cooking must not be too far apart. There must be a piece of worktop between sink and hob, where the food can be prepared.
Place the fridge so it is accesible: by members of the family, when cooking, and when unloading the shopping.
There are four main kitchen shapes:
- galley kitchens,
- two-way galley kitchens,
- L-shaped kitchens
- U-shaped kitchens.
